Your Background Should Include:

  • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
  • Minimum of one year of recent medical-surgical nursing experience
  • Proficiency in patient assessments, medication administration, and care plan development
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork
  • Up-to-date Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) a plus
  • Familiarity with electronic health records and charting best practices
  • Ability to respond calmly and effectively in urgent situations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe, evidence-based care to a variety of med-surg patients
  • Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions, changes, and responses to treatments
  • Administer medications and treatments following current protocols
  • Support physicians with procedures and assessments
  • Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
