Schedule/Hours:

  • 12-hour shifts (07:00–19:00 or 19:00–07:00)
  • Rotating weekends (every other)
  • No on-call requirements
  • Holiday shifts: majority required
  • Schedule cycle repeats every 6 weeks

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Active RN license and required state licensure
  • Minimum 18 months Med/Surg Telemetry experience
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
  • Competency with Epic EMR, cardiac rhythm interpretation, stroke/NIH assessments, PIV starts, chest tube, trach, and drain management
  • Able and willing to float within designated regional facilities
  • Team-oriented with a flexible, positive attitude

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive patient care for stroke, cardiac, COPD, altered mental status, and GI diagnoses
  • Maintain documentation and medication administration within Epic
  • Perform assessments, manage drains/tubes, interpret telemetry, and respond to emergencies
  • Collaborate with CNAs, hospitalists, and ancillary staff
  • Participate in patient education and safe discharge planning
