Qualifications and Experience:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year recent experience in a Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) nursing environment
• Proficient assessment, critical thinking, and patient care planning abilities
• Familiarity with current nursing standards, policies, and procedures
• Ability to manage multiple patient cases and adapt to fast-paced environments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• BLS certification (required); ACLS preferred

Typical Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care for patients with various medical and surgical diagnoses
• Administer medications, monitor patient vitals, and document interventions accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other interdisciplinary team members to coordinate holistic care
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families
• Participate in admission, transfer, and discharge processes
• Ensure adherence to infection prevention and quality standards at all times
• Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions and emergencies
