Travel Med-Surg Nurse (RN) - Monroe, NC

Schedule/Hours:

• Flexible shifts with potential for both day and night opportunities (day RN: 1:5; night RN: 1:6 ratio, surge up to 1:7-8).
• Floating within region as needed, with paid travel time between facilities during shifts.

Essential Qualifications:

• Active RN license, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (ONS preferred, not required)
• 18+ months direct Med/Surg Tele RN experience
• Cardiac rhythm interpretation and familiarity with non-titrating drips (Cardizem, Amiodarone) or willingness to train
• Strong general med/surg clinical skills: IV starts, wound care, tube/drain management, administration of blood products
• Open to first-time travelers excited about professional growth
• Comfortable caring for a dynamic patient mix, including hematology/oncology (no chemo administration required unless certified)

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care for med/surg and telemetry patients (ESRD, CHF, pneumonia, DKA, and more)
• Collaborate with an engaged multidisciplinary team (CNA, HUC, phlebotomy, case managers, pharmacist, RT, nurse educator)
• Utilize EPIC, Alaris pumps, Omnicell dispensing, and cutting-edge monitoring systems
