Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) - Moundville, AL

Key Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Demonstrated experience in medical-surgical nursing
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking abilities
• Ability to collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
• Current BLS certification (additional certifications are a plus)

Core Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care for patients on a med-surg unit
• Monitor and document patients’ conditions, responding appropriately to changes in status
• Administer medications and treatments per established protocols
• Educate patients and families about ongoing health needs, procedures, and care plans
• Support discharge planning and follow-up processes for smooth patient transitions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
