Medical-Surgical RN in Mount Juliet, TN

Experienced nurses are sought for a contract opportunity in a dynamic Med/Surg Float Pool. This position offers the chance to gain varied experience across five medical-surgical units, with the additional ability to float to the Emergency Room when needed. Working within a supportive environment using the Cerner EMR system, you’ll deliver excellent patient care to an adult patient population.

Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour night shifts (7:00 pm - 7:00 am)
• Weekend shifts required
• Flexibility to float across multiple Med/Surg units and ER as needed
• Orientation dates: 5/11 or 5/18

Qualifications:

• Active RN license for Tennessee or current compact state license on file upon submission
• BLS certification required
• Minimum two years of recent Med/Surg RN experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Strong adaptability and commitment to delivering high-quality care across varied settings

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient-centered nursing care to adults within general medical-surgical units
• Rotate among five Med/Surg units and float to the ER based on staffing needs
• Manage patient ratios typically ranging 1:1-6
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver effective care
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in Cerner EMR
• Adhere to hospital protocols and maintain compliance with standards
• Wear navy scrubs as per department requirements
