Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse in Muskegon, MI

Schedule:

• Multiple shift options: days, mids, and nights available
• 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
• Typical night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Key Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Experience in Med Surg (Medical-Surgical) nursing required
• Strong assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
• BLS certification; ACLS preferred
• Excellent communication and critical thinking capabilities
• Adaptability to varying patient needs and fast-paced environments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive care to patients in a med-surg setting, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with treatments
• Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals to implement individualized patient plans
• Perform thorough patient assessments and update records accurately
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions, treatment protocols, and post-discharge care
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized unit; adhere to infection control and safety procedures at all times
• Respond promptly to clinical changes with professionalism and sound judgment
