Qualifications:

• Valid, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year experience on a Medical-Surgical (MS) unit
• BLS certification (current and valid)
• Strong assessment, documentation, and IV skills
• Excellent communication abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Experience adapting to fast-paced clinical environments

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care and comprehensive assessments for adult patients with varied diagnoses
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and carry out treatment plans according to physician orders
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and other healthcare team members regarding care plans and progress
• Document all care activities accurately in the electronic health record
• Collaborate on discharge planning and patient education to promote positive outcomes
• Adhere to infection control protocols and evidence-based nursing practices
• Respond quickly and effectively to changes in patient condition
