Registered Nurse Med Surg | Naperville, Illinois

This contract opportunity seeks an experienced Registered Nurse with a background in med-surg environments to provide compassionate and efficient care. Key Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year recent experience in a med-surg unit
• Proficient with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Current BLS certification required
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication abilities
• Flexible, reliable, and able to adapt to fast-paced settings

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with established standards
• Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and adjust care as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and support staff
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and health management
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within EMR
• Uphold infection control protocols and patient safety guidelines
