Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) - New Britain, Connecticut

Schedule & Hours:

• Night shifts: 7:00 pm – 7:30 am
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend rotation

You’ll step into an inpatient hold setting, with the opportunity to care for medical-surgical patients and, when needed, provide support for emergency department patients. This exposure enables you to sharpen your clinical acumen and broaden your familiarity with various care delivery models and leadership styles, working alongside skilled professionals from a variety of backgrounds.

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license (CT or compact)
• 1+ year of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Experience or willingness to care for ED patients
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Flexibility for night shifts and every other weekend

Core Responsibilities:

• Assess, monitor, and coordinate the care of inpatient hold and medical-surgical patients
• Manage patient admissions, care plans, and documentation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support staff
• Respond effectively in urgent or emergent situations
• Foster a supportive, patient-centered environment
