Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and unrestricted RN license
- Minimum of one year recent experience in a medical-surgical (MS) unit
- Proficiency in patient assessment, care planning, and clinical documentation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Familiarity with electronic health records and standard hospital protocols
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a fast-paced med-surg environment
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, promptly reporting any changes to physicians
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans, procedures, and ongoing care needs
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, case managers, and ancillary staff to create a positive patient experience
- Maintain rigorous infection control and safety practices throughout all nursing activities
- Accurately document patient information and interventions in electronic records
