Qualifications & Experience Desired:

  • Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Minimum of one year’s clinical experience in Medical-Surgical, Long Term Care, or Psychiatric nursing.
  • Proficiency in patient assessment, medication administration, and care planning.
  • Solid clinical judgment and the ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across med-surg, long term care, and behavioral health settings, tailored to each individual’s unique needs.
  • Execute physician orders, administer medications, and monitor for adverse reactions.
  • Document patient observations, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely.
  • Foster a supportive and therapeutic environment to enhance patient well-being and recovery.
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, therapists, and case managers.
  • Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and health management.
  • Uphold rigorous infection control standards and adhere to facility protocols.
  • Participate in unit meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
