Travel Medical-Surgical Nurse (RN) | Nixa, Missouri

Schedule:

• Night shift (19:00–07:00), 36- or 48-hour guarantee per week
• 13-week assignment
• Weekend hours as required
• No call requirements

Role Overview: On the Medical Telemetry floor, you’ll work with a diverse patient population, gaining hands-on experience with advanced telemetry technology, lift equipment, IV pumps, and tube feeding pumps. Exposure to varying patient acuities and collaboration with top-tier clinical teams will broaden your clinical abilities and leadership skills.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license eligible in Missouri or currently licensed in the state
• BLS certification through AHA (required)
• NIHSS (can be obtained prior to start)
• Minimum 1 year recent inpatient Telemetry RN experience (drug titration competency required)
• Flexibility to float on a rotational basis
• Resilience, decisiveness, and strong adaptability required

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality patient care across all age groups using the nursing process
• Coordinate patient care in collaboration with multidisciplinary departments
• Evaluate and oversee care provided by direct care team members
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality at all times
• Practice in accordance with established standards, values, and Missouri Nurse Practice Act
