Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse in North East, PA

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current RN license in good standing
• Minimum of one year of recent experience in a medical-surgical (med-surg) setting
• BLS certification required; additional certifications such as ACLS preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive patient care and execute physician-ordered treatments for adult medical-surgical patients
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status and vital signs, reporting changes as necessary
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and provide wound and post-operative care
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, procedures, and self-care strategies
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care
• Maintain compliance with safety protocols and facility policies
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, care planning, and discharge processes

$2,105 - $2,227/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
