Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour shifts (6:45 AM/PM – 7:15 PM/AM)
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage as needed

Desired Experience & Skills:

• Current RN license, with at least 2 years of Med-Surg experience
• Minimum of 1 prior travel assignment
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required (AHA-approved only)
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR preferred, but comprehensive orientation provided
• History of working with nurse aides and floating to adjacent departments is a plus
• Strong adaptability and communication skills
• Comfortable in Caribbean Blue scrubs

Role Responsibilities:

• Manage patient loads with established ratios (typically 1:5, may be 1:6)
• Deliver compassionate care, collaborating closely with CNAs (assignment ratios 1:8–1:10)
• Float as needed to acute care, cardio, or for patient holds
• Participate fully in orientation and ongoing education
• Ensure patient safety and effective documentation within Meditech EMR
• Respond to changes in patient condition and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
