Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted RN license
• Proven experience caring for medical-surgical oncology patients
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Current BLS certification (and ONS/chemotherapy certification highly preferred)
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, compassionate care to oncology patients on a medical-surgical unit
• Administer medications, chemotherapy, and manage central lines as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
• Provide patient and family education on procedures, treatments, and after-care
• Monitor patient responses and make timely interventions based on clinical changes
• Keep thorough, accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies
