Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Valid RN license in good standing.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Medical-Surgical Oncology nursing.
  • Proficiency with IV chemotherapy administration, infusion therapies, and monitoring of oncologic patients.
  • Strong patient assessment skills with the ability to respond rapidly to changes in condition.
  • Competence with electronic health records (EHR).
  • BLS certification required; OCN preferred.
  • Ability to start as soon as compliance is complete (urgent need).

Responsibilities:

  • Administer FDA-approved chemotherapeutic and biologic drugs in an outpatient clinic setting.
  • Provide infusions, transfusions, and injections for patients with blood, immune, genetic, and hereditary disorders.
  • Monitor and assess patient responses to treatment, documenting any changes.
  • Educate patients and their families about care plans and symptom management.
  • Collaborate with oncology and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient experience and outcomes.
  • Uphold the highest standards of patient safety and professional nursing practice.
