Schedule:

  • Night shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • Med/Surg experience required
  • Prior experience in oncology units preferred
  • Chemo certification highly desired; ACLS certification preferred
  • Familiarity with meditech EMR is a plus
  • Strong teamwork skills and a positive, adaptable attitude

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical and oncology patients in a 24-bed unit
  • Administer chemotherapy (if chemo-certified) and perform standard care procedures
  • Maintain patient ratios of 1:5, ensuring attentive, individualized care
  • Accurately document patient information and care activities using meditech
  • Monitor vital signs as per unit protocol, including remote tele patients
  • Collaborate with an experienced team—1 charge nurse, 5 nurses, and administrative care techs per shift—for optimal care delivery
  • Engage in a primary nursing care model and contribute to a supportive, team-focused environment
