The variety of patient needs and hands-on procedures, from lumbar punctures to thoracentesis, ensure your clinical expertise continues to grow.
Schedule/Hours:
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active RN license
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of current hospital Oncology experience (acute care)
- Preferred: Chemo & biotherapy certificate, step-down experience, affinity for oncology/chronic patients
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and deliver comprehensive care for Oncology patients, including administering blood products and supporting complex treatment plans
- Utilize advanced equipment such as tele monitoring, bladder scanners, and Alaris pumps
- Collaborate closely with a dynamic team to maintain outstanding patient safety and evidence-based practice standards
- Participate in frequent procedures: lumbar punctures, bone marrow biopsies, thoracentesis, and more
