Step into a vital nursing role focused on delivering exceptional care for medical-surgical and oncology patients. This contract opportunity is designed for experienced Registered Nurses seeking a supportive, high-performing environment renowned for both patient outcomes and teamwork.

Schedule:

  • 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM shifts

Key Qualifications:

  • Active RN license with Med/Surg nursing experience required
  • Prior oncology patient management highly preferred
  • Chemo certification and ACLS certification considered strong assets
  • Familiarity with Meditech charting system
  • Positive, collaborative approach and passion for team-based care

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality care to a diverse patient population on a 24-bed Oncology unit
  • Administer chemotherapy (if certified) and standard med/surg interventions
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring safety and comfort
  • Perform vital signs monitoring; routine vitals every 8 hours, every 4 hours for remote telemetry patients
  • Collaborate with the charge nurse and a cohesive group of nurses and support staff
  • Utilize work-issued iPhones for immediate, efficient communication with care team members
  • Uphold hospital and unit guidelines and maintain rigorous standards of care
