Registered Nurse - Oncology in Haysville, KS

Schedule & Hours:

• Night shifts: 7PM – 7AM

Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license
• Extensive Med/Surg experience required
• Prior experience as an RN essential
• Chemo certification highly preferred
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is a strong asset
• Experience with Meditech EMR systems desirable
• Positive attitude and commitment to collaborative care

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for a diverse patient group, with a focus on oncology and medical-surgical cases
• Monitor vital signs and administer medications as per unit protocols, including chemotherapy (if certified)
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and healing environment with appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios (typically 1:5)
• Utilize remote telemetry monitoring and ensure regular vital assessments per policy
• Collaborate closely with charge nurses and the care team to deliver exceptional outcomes
• Participate in shared governance initiatives and contribute feedback for continuous quality improvement
