Qualifications & Experience:

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of one year of recent experience in MS Oncology
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to handle complex and changing clinical situations
• Experience using electronic medical records (EMR)
• Dedication to evidence-based patient care and comfort

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care and treatment to patients with acute and chronic oncology needs in a fast-paced medical-surgical unit
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient care plans
• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapies, and other medications as prescribed
• Monitor patient progress, document findings, and update care plans as necessary
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and optimize patient care
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans, side effect management, and support resources
• Maintain infection control protocols and uphold high standards of safety
• Support emotional and psychological needs of patients during treatment
