Make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients with complex oncology diagnoses in a dynamic inpatient environment. This contract position is ideal for a Registered Nurse with solid experience in medical-surgical oncology and chemotherapy administration, particularly those comfortable with high-acuity cases and cell therapy care.

Schedule:

  • 36 hours per week
  • Day and night rotating shifts
  • Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • Minimum 1 year of recent travel nursing experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Oncology and chemotherapy (RN-Chemo) administration
  • Strong background in hematology/oncology within high-acuity inpatient units

Preferred but not required:

  • Experience with bone marrow transplant (BMT) and CAR-T cell therapy
  • ONS chemo-immunotherapy certification
  • Familiarity with inpatient oncology research patient care
  • Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) credential

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert care to patients undergoing oncology and cell therapy treatments
  • Administer chemotherapeutic agents and monitor for adverse reactions
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient-centered care plans
  • Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatments, and symptom management
  • Uphold rigorous clinical standards to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with facility protocol

$2,541 - $2,688/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
