Qualifications:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of one year of recent experience in MS Oncology or Oncology nursing
- Proficient in administering chemotherapy and managing cancer-related symptoms
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, emotionally charged environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients throughout various treatment stages
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust individualized care plans
- Administer medications, including chemotherapy, safely and accurately
- Monitor patient status, report changes promptly, and respond effectively to emergencies
- Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatment regimens, and side effect management
- Support patients’ psychosocial and emotional needs during hospitalization or outpatient care
- Maintain timely and thorough clinical documentation
