Registered Nurse Oncology | New Castle, Colorado

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of one year of recent experience in MS Oncology or Oncology nursing
• Proficient in administering chemotherapy and managing cancer-related symptoms
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, emotionally charged environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients throughout various treatment stages
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust individualized care plans
• Administer medications, including chemotherapy, safely and accurately
• Monitor patient status, report changes promptly, and respond effectively to emergencies
• Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatment regimens, and side effect management
• Support patients’ psychosocial and emotional needs during hospitalization or outpatient care
• Maintain timely and thorough clinical documentation
