An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse with a specialty in Medical-Surgical Oncology and Chemotherapy administration. This contract position is designed for a dedicated RN who excels in high-acuity inpatient hematology and oncology settings and is passionate about making a significant impact on patient outcomes.
Schedule:
- 36 hours per week
- Day/Night rotating shifts
- Every other weekend required
- Every other holiday required
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active RN license
- At least 1 year of travel nursing experience required
- Demonstrated proficiency in Medical-Surgical Oncology and Chemotherapy (Chemo) care
- Strong hematology/oncology nursing skills in high-acuity inpatient environments
Preferred Skills (Not Required):
- Experience with Blood and Marrow Transplant (BMT) or Cell Therapy
- Familiarity with CAR-T therapy administration
- ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) chemo-immunotherapy certification
- Exposure to inpatient oncology research patient care
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) credential
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert care for oncology patients, including chemotherapy administration and monitoring
- Collaborate with interprofessional teams to provide exceptional support for BMT and hematology/oncology therapies
- Conduct patient assessments, monitor responses to treatments, and document clinical changes effectively
- Educate patients and families about care protocols and support resources
- Adhere to safety standards and infection control best practices

$2,541 - $2,688/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
