Oncology Registered Nurse - Silt, CO

Deliver exceptional cancer care and make a difference in patient outcomes as a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical Oncology. Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Current, unencumbered RN license
• Proven experience in Medical Surgical Oncology and/or as an Oncology RN
• Solid foundation in chemotherapy administration and symptom management
• BLS and ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Proficiency in electronic medical records documentation
• Compassionate communication and patient-centered care approach
• Collaborative mindset with strong critical thinking and assessment skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assessing patient responses to treatment
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate and optimize patient care plans
• Educate patients and families about treatment protocols, side effects, symptom management, and recovery expectations
• Accurately document all nursing interventions and patient progress in compliance with established protocols
• Adhere to strict infection control and chemotherapy safety standards
• Provide emotional support and advocate for the unique needs of oncology patients
