Key Qualifications:

  • Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum of one year of recent experience in a med-surg setting
  • Strong background in MS nursing and direct oncology care is required
  • Proven clinical skills managing chemotherapy, patient education, and symptom management
  • BLS certification (current and valid)
  • Excellent assessment, prioritization, and communication abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong commitment to compassionate patient advocacy

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to oncology patients in a med-surg environment
  • Administer chemotherapy, monitor vital signs, and assess for adverse reactions
  • Educate patients and families about treatment protocols and ongoing care needs
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and allied health professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor patient progress, document findings accurately, and adapt care as necessary
  • Uphold safety and infection control standards consistently
