Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) - Owego, New York

Schedule:

• 3x12-hour night shifts weekly

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of one year of recent experience in a Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) setting
• Proficiency in delivering high-quality patient care and thorough documentation
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient assessment skills
• Confidence in collaborating within an interdisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and adjust care as needed
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges in accordance with facility protocols
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with current standards
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, care procedures, and at-home care instructions
• Promote a safe, supportive, and healing environment for all patients
