Medical-Surgical RN in Ozark, AL

Step into a dynamic role providing essential care within a medical-surgical setting. We're seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract opportunity. Schedule:

• Night shifts, 7:00 pm - 7:00 am

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active RN license with a strong background in medical-surgical nursing
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Recent experience with Cerner electronic health records system
• Permanent residence at least 50 miles from the facility

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive patient care on a busy med-surg unit, prioritizing safety and therapeutic outcomes
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
• Collaborate closely with physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and monitor patient responses to interventions
• Document all assessments, interventions, and patient interactions promptly and accurately
• Support patients and their families with education and updates regarding treatment
• Uphold infection control, patient privacy, and hospital safety protocols
