Qualifications:

• Current, active RN license
• Experience in Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) settings required
• Proficiency in telemetry nursing, including monitoring and responding to cardiac rhythms
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to adult patients on med surg and telemetry units
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry strips, responding to arrhythmias and changes in patient status
• Perform head-to-toe assessments, develop individualized plans of care, and document patient progress
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and coordinate with physicians for effective patient management
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families
• Adhere to infection prevention protocols and safety standards
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and ongoing communication with care team members
