RN Med Surg | Pelham, Alabama

Exciting opportunity available for an experienced Registered Nurse skilled in Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) care. Provide high-quality nursing support and patient-centered care on a dedicated medical-surgical unit. Schedule/Hours:

• 7a-7p shifts

Key Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year of recent experience in a Medical-Surgical nursing setting
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical documentation skills
• Current BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
• Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork abilities
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive care to adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical diagnoses
• Administer medications safely and in accordance with physician orders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to formulate, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Monitor and interpret vital signs, perform frequent reassessments, and promptly respond to changes in condition
• Provide clear education to patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and health management
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and infection control practices
• Document all care provided accurately and timely in the EHR
