Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical care to provide dedicated patient support within a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract position requires a professional who thrives in fast-paced settings and is committed to delivering high-quality care.

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Demonstrated experience in Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) nursing
• Proficiency in nursing assessments, care planning, and execution
• Strong communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced atmosphere
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients on the Medical-Surgical unit
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress regularly
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines and protocols
• Educate patients and their families about ongoing care, post-discharge instructions, and medication management
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, joint commission standards, and state regulations
• Contribute to a safe, respectful, and supportive patient care environment
