Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) - Pembroke, GA

Skilled nursing professionals with a background in Med Surg and Telemetry have an excellent opportunity to deliver top-tier patient care. This contract position offers immediate placement, supporting the needs of adult medical/surgical units and remote telemetry monitoring. Your adaptability and expertise will ensure seamless coverage in both Med Surg and Tele departments, as you fulfill a vital role in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Schedule & Hours:

• Days: 6:45 am – 7:15 pm
• Every other weekend (EOW) coverage required
• Holiday shifts required
• Floating between Med Surg and Telemetry units based on patient needs
• Schedule variance according to unit demands

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with specialization in Med Surg
• Minimum of two years’ recent experience in an acute care setting
• Recent Cerner charting experience is required
• BLS certification mandated
• At least two completed travel assignments in comparable roles
• Proficient in caring for Med Surg patients using remote telemetry monitoring
• Ready to float between Med Surg and Telemetry departments as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients in Med Surg and Telemetry
• Flexibly adapt to schedule changes and department needs, ensuring optimal patient coverage
• Accurately document care, assessments, and progress using the Cerner electronic medical record system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care
• Maintain adherence to hospital policies and best practices

$1,579 - $1,728/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
