Travel Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) - Pikeville, KY

In this role, you will provide vital care as part of a strong Med-Surg/Telemetry nursing team. You’ll work a dynamic schedule that gives you the chance to balance challenging shifts with meaningful downtime for exploring local trails, discovering Appalachian culture, and forging new adventures along the way.

Schedule:

• Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-07:30)
• Alternating weekends required
• Schedules follow a 36/48 hour rotation over a two-week pay period.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in Kentucky or a compact state
• Minimum 2 years recent Med-Surg/Telemetry experience (MS/Tele)
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR
• AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIH certification required
• Willingness to float within scope as needed
• Reside 75+ miles from the site for eligibility
• Valid driver’s license (submission requirement)

• Deliver high-quality care in a 1:5/1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio environment
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, collaborating seamlessly with a multi-disciplinary team
• Flexibly adapt to varying unit assignments, census fluctuations, and patient needs
• Maintain accurate, detailed patient records in Meditech EMR system
