Medical-Surgical RN in Pinson, AL

Schedule:

• 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. shifts
• 13-week contract duration

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of one year of Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) experience required
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Proficient in patient assessments, critical thinking, and implementing care plans
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work seamlessly in a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients on the Medical-Surgical unit
• Monitor patient status, administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals to coordinate individualized care plans
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in the electronic medical record
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions
• Uphold the highest standards of safety, patient privacy, and infection control
