Schedule/Hours:
- 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- 13-week commitment
Qualifications:
- Active and unencumbered RN license
- Proven experience in medical-surgical (med-surg) environments
- Strong assessment and clinical documentation skills
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities
- Current BLS certification (other credentials may be required depending on facility standards)
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced hospital setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to a diverse med-surg patient population
- Coordinate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members on patient care plans
- Administer medications, IVs, and treatments according to established protocols
- Monitor and interpret patient vital signs, promptly reporting any changes
- Educate patients and their families, promoting health and recovery
- Accurately document all patient interactions and interventions in the electronic medical record
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment following hospital policies
