Qualifications:

• Current valid RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Med-Surg and Telemetry settings
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record system is a must
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• BLS and ACLS certifications preferred
• Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple patients

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, treatment, and ongoing patient assessment
• Monitor telemetry for rhythm changes and notify providers of any significant findings
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop, implement, and evaluate patient-specific care plans
• Educate patients and their families about conditions, medications, and care pathways
• Maintain accurate documentation within the Cerner system, ensuring compliance with hospital protocols and standards
• Respond promptly to changes in patient status and participate in rapid response activities as needed
