Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients on a busy Med Surg unit
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans
• Monitor patient progress, recognize changes in condition, and adjust interventions accordingly
• Safely administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and allied health professionals to coordinate care
• Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, procedures, and discharge planning
• Document nursing activities clearly and accurately in compliance with facility policies
• Maintain a safe environment and follow infection control protocols

Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of one year recent experience in Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) nursing
• Proficiency with EMR systems and excellent clinical documentation skills
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Strong critical thinking and communication abilities
