In this travel assignment, you’ll serve on a progressive 24-bed Medical Cardiology unit, gaining valuable experience within a dynamic team environment renowned for advanced cardiac care. This role offers exceptional professional development, expanding your resume with cutting-edge techniques in telemetry, cardiac drips, and post-cath care, while exposing you to a diversity of workplace leaders and methodologies.

Schedule:

  • Night shifts
  • Every other weekend
  • 36 hours per week

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as an RN with a strong cardiac care background
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret telemetry strips and perform cardiac drips
  • Experience with post-cath care: PCI, ICD, PPM, ablation, TR band, and femoral approaches
  • Current, active Massachusetts RN license
  • Valid AHA BLS certification

Core Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and assess patients recovering from a variety of cardiac interventions
  • Interpret tele strips accurately, initiate, and manage cardiac drips as per protocol
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional, evidence-based care
  • Educate patients and families regarding post-cath procedures and ongoing cardiac care
  • Ensure meticulous documentation and adherence to safety standards
