Medical-Surgical RN in Quincy, MI

Schedule/Hours:

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid and unencumbered RN license
• Previous experience in a medical-surgical (Med Surg) nursing setting
• Proven ability to carry out assessments, med administration, IV therapy, and wound care
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-centered approach
• BLS certification (additional certifications are a plus)
• Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and best practices

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care and monitor vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment
• Collaborate closely with physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff
• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and health management
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic medical records
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and patient transfers as needed
• Maintain a safe working environment and comply with all safety, infection control, and quality standards
