As a registered nurse on the medical-surgical/telemetry floor, immerse yourself in a dynamic clinical setting within a high-acuity Level 1 Trauma & Burn Center and Primary Stroke Center. Schedule/Hours:
- Night shifts: 7:00 pm – 7:00 am
- 36 or 48 hours weekly, must be confirmed in submission
- Weekend requirements as assigned
- Assignments are 13 weeks
Your Qualifications:
- Valid RN license for Missouri (or eligible for MO licensure)
- At least 1 year of recent inpatient telemetry experience
- BLS (AHA) required, NIHSS (can complete before start)
- Demonstrated competence in drug titration
- Decisive, adaptable, and collaborative personality
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform direct patient assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluations
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care to optimize clinical outcomes
- Practice within Missouri Nurse Practice Act and facility guidelines
- Maintain patient rights, privacy, and deliver care with compassion
- Float as needed to other units and adapt to diverse workloads
