Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) - Rhome, Texas

Key Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Previous experience in a medical-surgical (RN-MS) setting required
• Proficiency in comprehensive patient assessments, medication administration, and multidisciplinary care planning
• Flexibility to adapt to changing patient acuity and fast-paced conditions
• Strong communication and critical thinking abilities
• BLS certification (ACLS preferred)

Schedule:

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver skilled nursing care tailored to adult medical-surgical patients, including pre- and post-operative support
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status in collaboration with the broader healthcare team
• Ensure accurate and timely administration of medications, IVs, and other physician-ordered therapies
• Advocate for patients and implement evidence-based practices to achieve positive outcomes
• Act as a liaison between patients, family members, and the multidisciplinary team for effective patient education and discharge planning
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and clinical protocols
