Key Qualifications:

  • Current and unrestricted RN license required
  • Minimum of one year recent experience in medical-surgical (Med Surg) nursing
  • Strong assessment, clinical, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or equivalent
  • Familiarity with electronic health records and hospital protocols

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and individualized nursing care to adult patients on the medical-surgical unit
  • Assess patient health status and develop care plans tailored to patient needs
  • Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients’ conditions
  • Administer medications, intravenous fluids, and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Educate patients and families on disease processes, procedures, and discharge plans
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
  • Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and best practice standards for patient safety

$1,748 - $1,912/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
