With exposure to an average census of 20 patients and diverse presentations such as stroke, COPD, chest pain, and GI bleeds, you’ll collaborate closely with department leaders and valuable support staff—enriching your résumé with proven, in-demand skills and broadening your perspective on patient care. Desired Qualifications:
- Active RN license (NC or compact)
- Minimum 18 months’ recent Med/Tele experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Proficiency in Epic charting and care technology
- Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to float within region as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional care to adults with acute med/tele needs
- Conduct NIH stroke assessments, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and manage cardiac drips
- Perform PIV starts, manage trach care, NGT, drains, tubing, and PCA pumps
- Collaborate with CNAs, charge nurses, and multidisciplinary support staff
- Adapt to patient census and float to other facilities within the region if necessary
