The 32-bed med/tele unit features advanced technology and diverse patient needs, giving you invaluable exposure to multiple clinical situations and a robust interdisciplinary team. You’ll further develop your nursing skills, adapt to different leadership styles, and expand your resume with sought-after experience in a highly rated facility.
Schedule/Hours:
- Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 36 or 48 hours/week (based on preference and submission)
- 13-week assignment
- Rotational weekend requirements, no on-call
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license (Missouri or compact state eligibility)
- BLS from AHA (required), NIHSS (must obtain before start)
- At least 1 year recent inpatient tele experience (drug titration proficiency required)
- Flexibility to float to other units as needed
- Strong, decisive, adaptable personality
- Commitment to wear black scrubs
Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, and coordination
- Provide high-quality care aligned with hospital and regulatory standards
- Collaborate seamlessly with ancillary departments
- Monitor, administer, and document medication (including titrations)
- Maintain patient rights, confidentiality, and safety at all times
- Support and mentor clinical team members
