Medical-Surgical RN in Rome, GA

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with experience in Med Surg and Telemetry. This contract role requires an adaptable and skilled RN ready to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll need:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of one year recent experience in Med Surg and Telemetry
• Proven skills in patient assessment, monitoring, and documentation
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to critical situations
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Strong communication skills and dedication to collaborative care

What you’ll do:

• Deliver safe, accurate, and compassionate nursing care to patients in Med Surg and Telemetry units
• Monitor and interpret vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and report any changes promptly
• Administer medications and perform procedures following established protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, support staff, and interdisciplinary teams
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and post-discharge care
• Document nursing actions and patient responses accurately and thoroughly
• Support the care team by anticipating needs and contributing positively to the work environment
