Seeking a dedicated registered nurse with proven oncology experience to provide expert care within a medical-surgical unit. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality patient-centered care, utilizing advanced nursing skills and compassionate support for oncology patients.

Requirements:

  • Current, unrestricted RN license
  • Demonstrated experience in a Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) setting
  • Previous work with oncology patients is required
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and documentation abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and colleagues

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care for patients on a medical-surgical oncology unit
  • Conduct timely assessments, planning, and implementation of care for patients receiving oncology treatments
  • Administer medications, therapies, and monitor vital signs with keen attention to detail
  • Coordinate with physicians and allied health professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and ongoing care
  • Maintain accurate records, adhering to healthcare regulations and best practices
  • Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and support emergency interventions as needed
