Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license with good standing
• Previous commitment in a medical-surgical (MS) setting
• Required background in oncology nursing, including experience administering chemotherapy and symptom management
• Strong assessment, prioritization, and documentation skills
• Compassionate approach, dedicated to patient safety and education
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS); Oncology Nursing Certification preferred

Schedule:

• Full-time contract assignment; specific shift details will be discussed in interviews

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient-centered care to oncology and med-surg populations
• Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and provide support during treatments, including chemotherapy
• Perform and document comprehensive assessments and ongoing monitoring
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary team members for optimal patient outcomes
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and families
• Adhere to all infection control, safety, and quality standards
• Participate in care planning, discharge processes, and follow-up
