Medical-Surgical Nurse (RN) - Saco, Maine

An experienced Registered Nurse is sought for a rewarding role in a Medical-Surgical setting located in Saco, ME. This contract opportunity offers a meaningful way to contribute your clinical skills on the night shift while engaging with a supportive and professional care team.

Location:
Saco is a charming city nestled in southern Maine, known for its scenic coastline, vibrant community, and rich history. It provides a balanced lifestyle with access to outdoor activities, cultural events, and a welcoming small-town atmosphere.

Schedule/Hours:

• Night shift: 7:00 pm to 7:30 am
• 36 hours per week (3 shifts of 12 hours each)
• Variable days and night shifts
• No call or block scheduling required
• Every other weekend scheduled

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current RN license required
• Previous experience exclusively in Medical-Surgical nursing
• Telemetry experience preferred
• ACLS and BLS/BCLS certifications mandatory
• Compliance with Maine State flu vaccine mandate

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient-centered care within a medical-surgical unit
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and document care
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members
• Maintain adherence to hospital policies, including accurate timecard submission in line with provided guidelines
