Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) in Saginaw, MI

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Minimum of one year of direct experience in a Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) nursing role
• Strong assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
• Effective communication abilities with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and families
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient needs in a busy unit
• Current BLS certification

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver professional, patient-centered care to diverse populations within a med-surg unit
• Monitor, assess, and record patient symptoms, interventions, and outcomes
• Administer medications, IVs, and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals to develop individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge care, medication regimens, and recovery expectations
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in compliance with facility policies
• Adhere to all infection control and safety procedures
