This position gives you the chance to work in a dynamic 24-bed medical cardiology unit, where you’ll expand your professional repertoire through diverse clinical scenarios and collaborate with seasoned healthcare teams. Schedule & Hours:
- Night shifts, 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
Role Highlights:
- Care for patients in a Medical-Surgical Telemetry setting on a Medical Cardiology unit
- Interpret telemetry strips and manage cardiac drips as an essential component of patient care
- Deliver post-cath care including management of PCI, ICD, PPM, ablation, TR Bands, and femoral approaches
- Maintain an RN-to-patient ratio of 1:5 (days), 1:6 (nights)
- Collaborate with an experienced team in an environment that encourages ongoing learning and professional growth
Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum two years of recent experience in a strong cardiac-focused nursing role
- Proficient in interpreting telemetry strips and administering/monitoring cardiac drips
- Experience with post-cardiac intervention care is essential
- Current and active Massachusetts RN license
- AHA BLS certification
