This night shift opportunity is ideal for experienced Med-Surg/Tele RNs seeking to expand their skill set in a dynamic healthcare environment. In this role, you’ll work alongside multidisciplinary teams and encounter diverse workplace practices and leadership methods, deepening your clinical expertise and enriching your resume. Schedule/Hours:
- Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:30)
- 36/48 hour bi-weekly rotating schedule
- Every other weekend rotation required
Qualifications:
- Valid KY or compact state nursing license
- Minimum two years current MS/Tele experience
- AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certification
- Proficiency with Meditech EMR
- Willingness to float within scope of practice
- Must reside at least 75 miles from assignment
- Current driver’s license required
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver inpatient care to a dynamic caseload (typically 1:5/1:6 ratios)
- Respond efficiently in rapidly changing census or acuity
- Collaborate with multiprofessional teams to achieve the best outcomes
- Ensure compliance with facility and regulatory standards
- Participate in bi-weekly orientation
