Schedule/Hours:
- Floating within the region is required and mid-shift travel is paid time.
- Departmental orientation and facility training included.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Active RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele RN experience
- At least 6 months current EPIC charting experience
- Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation, non-titrating cardiac drips (Cardizem/Amiodarone), IV starts, wound care, blood product administration
- Willingness to float among Cleveland, Kings Mountain, Lincoln, and Central Division facilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a patient ratio of 1:5-6; possible increase to 1:7-8 during surge staffing
- Deliver hands-on care to a variety of patients, including those with cardiac, respiratory, and neuro diagnoses
- Collaborate on a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive care delivery
- Flexibly float to meet regional needs and maintain high standards of patient safety
